Arma Tactics takes the best from the popular strategy genre... and goes mobile. The finest assets used in the critically acclaimed Arma™ series on PC now come to life on the mobile platforms, in one of the best looking mobile games to date.

Arma Tactics is a turn-based close-combat strategy game, where the player takes control of a four-member Special Forces team. There are no given strategies, rails to move on, or paths to follow; it‘s up to the player to decide how he will play through both the story-driven missions and generated missions with randomized objectives. Whether using stealth or a more direct approach, players will need to use their strategic thinking and use both basic and advanced weaponry while facing many different opponents - ranging from unorganized local militia to smart and skilled mercenaries.

With highly replayable missions, achievements, weapons to unlock and whole campaigns to be regularly added, Arma Tactics offers many hours of intense ever-changing action.

Pros and cons of Arma Tactics app for iPhone and iPad

Arma Tactics app good for

Good tactical game. It is beautiful. It is quite fluid on an iPad 3. I recommend this game to anyone who loves the turn. This is not Xcom, but worth the "Detour" Dear Programers! Please an Update! The camera doesnt always follow the action, especially after OUR TURN, when it is the ENEMYS TURN, we often find ourselves looking at the scenery instead of following the action...>>>WHY??? Why is it not possible to go through the windows, or climb ladders? Thank you for this game, but PLEASE, quickly updated to make it even better...
There is not a reaction even if I go to the destination on the stage of the dam. Please revise it.
Idea is great, but better optimization needed. Camera starts fading when shape-forms appear through the building.
Отличная игра! Но у меня вылетает, в середине миссии... :/ Great game! But sometimes it takes off, correct pls!) iPad mini ios 7

Some bad moments

If you fix the Controls and the sensivity,i will rate 5 stars.
Not entirely a waste but you cant zoom out to plan moves. I found it very difficult. Deleted it.
Game is really boring, each turn is similar to previous. I really dont understand reason to pay such bunch of money.
Game do not work properly, every time after I try to play, it exiting automaticly.
a shame crashes every two minutes on ipad mini shameful you have done two upgrades and you have solved the problem. shame because this game is very promising!
Review is based on my first couple hours playing on an iPad 2. I was hesitant at first but being a long time BI fan I picked this up. Basically it plays like a simpler XCOM with a military setting. While it doesnt really bring anything new to the tactical genre it is a nice little game that plays pretty well. The AI is tough, plenty of weapon/upgrade choices, and the missions are pretty fun with multiple avenues of approach. I kept feeling during missions that it needed to be more complex, more like Jagged Alliance, but the simple streamlined approach is fun when you arent looking for a long game session. I experienced one crash in my 3 hours of play which occurred during the tutorial. Turning off fog of war and the higher effects seemed to fix this issue. I highly recommend to BI to adjust the building transparency effects. It drops the framerate to single digits and often times obscures a roof you are trying to get to and makes it impossible to move. Issues: Building transparency is buggy and tanks the fps. Controls are finicky, accidental movement happens a lot. The camera can sometimes make it impossible to move where you want to. Feels too simple at times. Whats good: Progression system AI (so far) Cover works well Missions have multiple approaches Graphics are solid, even without the extra options on Bottom line, its worth the price if you like tactical turn-based games and want something that doesnt have aliens. Ill update if I come across any other issues.
